ASBC (Autism Society of British Columbia) is sponsoring a six-class course about the principles of ABA and their practical application to parenting children with autism. The classes will consist of a variety of presentations, guided discussions, brief exercises, video demonstrations and question and answer times. Rather than a traditional lecture style, the classes are designed with a “round table” approach, where parents can bring questions, ideas and input in order to facilitate discussion.
The classes will take place on February 25th, March 18th, April 8th, May 13th, June 10th and July 15th, 2013. They will be held at AHP Matthew Elementary School at 13367 97A Ave in Surrey. Cost is $120 for the entire course or $25 per class.
